Everyone has a story. I want to learn yours.
I am passionate about creating meaningful, personal, authentic life-cycle experiences for individuals, couples, and families comprised of all genders, sexual orientations, and religious backgrounds. Welcoming your infant, officiating a B'nai Mitzvah, creating your wedding ceremony, and shaping a memorial service for your loved one, is my honor and privilege.

Inclusivity is key.It is important that your sacred moment be a meaningful reflection of you and your family, your shared cultures, and your diverse traditions.
I have co-officiated weddings with a Ukrainian Catholic priest in a park, with a Protestant pastor in a hotel, with a Persian minister in front of a sofreh aghd, and with a family friend who spoke to the couple's bond while I incorporated Jewish ritual. I created a Mexican-Jewish wedding that included the exchange of los arras wedding coins, Armenian-Jewish and Irish-Jewish ceremonies that integrated their respective cultural words of wisdom, and a Taiwanese Buddhist-Jewish wedding that ended when one partner stepped on a glass and the other broke a red roof tile. A poly couple requested a ceremony with no mention of monogamy, an agnostic couple wanted minimal reference to God, and a Hindu-Jewish couple created a structure that served as both mandap and chuppah. I've welcomed families to ceremonies in Spanish, and chanted Hebrew to the accompaniment of a Tibetan singing bowl to open everyone's heart chakra. You may choose to hold your ceremony at an inn or a forest, a beach or a synagogue. I've led families in celebration on the side of a mountain, at a local Jewish Community Center that thrummed with the mazel tov's of 200 people, and with an intimate group of ten celebrating a Bat Mitzvah in the back room of a restaurant. I've blessed babies in living rooms and doctor's offices, and smudged a backyard with sage to cleanse the space of any negative energy. No ceremony will ever be alike, because YOU are unique. I am an approved officiant with 18 Doors (formerly Interfaith Family), Unorthodox Celebrations, and Great Officiants, and am certified in premarital counseling through Prepare-Enrich. |
